Crispy potato wedges with sweet and sour sauce


2 large potatoes

1 cup flour

Warm water


Black pepper


Garlic and onion powder

A pinch of baking powder

Oil for frying

For the sauce:

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard A pinch of salt

1 tablespoon honey


Step 1: Wash the potatoes thoroughly, and do not peel them.

Step 2: Cut each potato into halves, then cut each half into halves again, then cut each quarter into halves again, so each potato will make 8 fingers.

Step 3: Heat up plenty of oil in a deep frying pan, and fry the potatoes with their skin on until they are halfway cooked.

Step 4: Add warm water gradually to the flour until it becomes a batter with a consistency similar to cake batter. Add a teaspoon of each of the spices we mentioned and a pinch of baking powder.

Step 5: Dip the partially cooked potato fingers into the batter, and then immediately place them in the hot oil to fry until they become golden brown.

Step 6: To make the sauce, mix all the sauce ingredients we mentioned earlier thoroughly. Enjoy!
